Club membership will last for 12 months from the date of the application being accepted. Joining the Focus MK1 Preservation Club is straightforward, simply fill in the simple form to tell us about yourself and your car and send the correct subscription by PayPal, Debit Card or create a Direct Debit rolling subscription in your control.

Voluntary Club Management Team
As a voluntary organisation we are completely non-profit, all monies are for the benefit of the Clubs activities in the short and long term. We are run by a team of committed enthusiasts who give up their time to support in an area or multiple areas of the organisation. Each member volunteers their skills and enthusiasm towards an area of the club. Our club constitution maps out the running of the club and terms and conditions of membership.

Access to Social Media Platforms
Every member will have access to both Facebook groups. This effectively replaces the traditional club magazine that car clubs have usually offered members. In this example we are a totally modern car club, encompassing the best elements of traditional classic car clubs that utilises modern-day social media to support the majority of club operations for the benefit of all members.
National Events
All members are invited to some club national events take place each year at different locations and selected venues organised by the club management. This is always an effective way of harbouring new friendships, sharing passions and building the community together. There is a trophy presentation at each event to help recognise members who have shown dedication to their cherished example and made this community a better place!
Local Area Events
Alongside our national events we have a growing UK network of area organisers who bring a slice of the club community to local level. This means members don’t have to travel a long way to a club event/meeting and increases the interaction members have within the community and thus creating a strong support network for fellow members. Making every member feel a part of this special community.
The Archive
Members will have full access to the archive, which is the biggest collection of MK1 literature in the world from that period. The club has worked extensively to digitalise the materials for future generations to enjoy. Some of which have never been seen for decades. A much more viable and cost-effective method of gaining knowledge and enjoying anything MK1-related.
