Over the past decade, MK1 numbers have steadily declined worldwide. But how many are actually still with us today? Before the club even began, Andrew created his own detailed data spreadsheets, breaking down specifications, variants, and year-by-year figures. He estimates his dataset is about 98% accurate when compared with the well-known “How Many Left” website, which combines MK1 and MK2 numbers. His records cover only UK vehicles, as reliable information from other markets is not readily available.
